Because her answer was vague to me so I can't remember exactly. It looked like she said: The answer is C - think because this is a question in a conversation between "I" and "you", the option B - expect would make the question unlogical. Yep, both her answer and attitude were so vague that I couldn't catch her speech. I'm so sorry for my bad memories. cry

"Expect" is the only correct answer. You can't say "think someone to do something." Your teacher is mistaken.
