Is this sentence correct?: "they exerted a powerful in local politics".
Shouldn't it be: "they exerted a power in local politics"
Hi Jaleh Your suggestion would certainly work. Or there may be a missing word: - They exerted a powerful influence in local politics Regards, Dave

Hi
I've given you a like there but, technically, if it's a sentence, the first letter should be a capital 'T'
(And, I know, for messages, I tend to omit the full stop if there's a blank line beneath, so I'm not perfect)
