Exercises with conditionals

Who can correct the following exercises?

I. Put the verbs in brackets into the correct tense:
1. If he (take out) took out a loan, he’d be able to buy a car.
2. Keep the noise down or else someone (hear) will hear us.
3. The state of the economy (improve)improves provided that there is a change of government.
4. Even if I (phone ) had phoned them, it would have been too late to change their minds.

II. Rewrite the following as mixed conditionals:
1. You didn't make an appointment, so we can't see you tomorrow.
If you had made an appointmeent, you could have seen us tomorrow.

2. He's so gollible that he believed everything you said.
If he wasn't so gullible, he wouldn't have believed everything you said.

3. She was talking all day, so her throat is sore now.
If she hadn't been talking all day, her throut wouldn't be sore.

4. He doesn't listen to anyone's advie, so he didn't do what you suggested.
If he listened to anyone's advice, he could have done what you suggested.

III. Rewrite these sentences using a conditional sentence and another sentence with a hypothetical construction - WISH.

1. You want to cook an Italian meal but you have no pasta left.
I wish I had some pasta.
If I had some pasta, I could cook an Italian meal.

2. You didn't watch the news so you didn't know there was a train strike.
I wish I had watched the news.
If I had watched the news, I would have known there was a train strike.
