Is this sentence correct:


"Jef Bush HAS EXERCISED some public service posts in Florida."


Or even just as;


"Jef Bush HAS EXERCISED some public posts in Florida."

Do you mean Jeb Bush? The idea of "exercising" a post does not seem right to me. You can say "held" if that's what you mean.

Do you mean Jeb Bush? The idea of "exercising" a post does not seem right to me. You can say "held" if that's what you mean. I don't see that the word "service" adds much value. You can say:

Jeb Bush has held some public posts in Florida.

If "some" feels weak, you can say e.g. "several" or "various" or "a number of".
