exclamation with what

hi everyone ,so here's the question yesterday my english grammar teacher was talking about the exclamation and then she wrote : What's a pretty lady! as an example.but i think it's not "what's a pretty lady!" it's WHAT a pretty lady! and when i told her that she said no we say what's a pretty lady sooo it's what right??

As an exclamation, it's "What a pretty lady!" "What's a pretty lady!" is not correct.

Please make an effort to use correct capitalisation and punctuation in your posts.
