Excited about/with

Hi

Is it OK to say: I'm not interested in being excited about the life of other people.

--- Could I say: "... excited with the life of other people".

Your first sentence is very awkward but structurally correct. You could also say 'with'.

Hi

So how to say it in a better way using the words "interested" and "excited"?

Thanks

Trying to use both is the awkward point. Do this, for instance:

I'm not interested in other people's lives.
Other people's lives don't excite me.

Ok, thanks, but is is preferable to say "people's lives" instead of "the lives of other people", or maybe it doesn't matter?

'People's lives' is more natural, more idiomatic, but you may use the other if you wish.
