Excited

I recently attended the release of a new film with friends in cinema . For days before I was raring to go , I was so excited , I couldn’t hardly wait. On the actual day , I finally got to see the film . you know , that is a horror film , the acting was great and the plot had me on the edge of my seat all the way through.

please, explain to me meaning '' all the way through'' . thank you every much ^^..
