Vocabulary

exchange/trade

Hello,
Which sentence sounds better? "I want to exchange/trade my German Shepherd for a Scottish Terrier." I think that both sentences make sense, but I have a stronger preference for exchange. It just sounds better to me.
Also, can we use "swap" in more informal contexts? I think the substitution is possible.

Thank you Emotion: smile
