exchange with/for

Hi! I would like to know what's the difference between " exchange for " and "exchange with"

For example: "May I exchange bonus cards with/for toys?"
Which prepostion is correct?
Thank you very much !
If you could give me some examples of each of them, that would be even better and helpful!

Exchange for is normally used for direct objects, and exchange with for indirect objects. In the example you gave, you would exchange your bonus cards for toys . You would exchange bonus cards with another player in the game.
