Grammar

except

Hello,

a) All the children want to go to the beach.

b) He does not want to go to the beach.

I have to join these two senteces using "except'.

1) All the children, except him, want to go to the beach.

2) All the children, except he, want to go to the beach.

Which one (1) or (2) is correct?

Thanks.
