Exceed my expectation of him

Is the second sentence correct and natural?

Every time I've needed him to be there, he's been there.
He has always exceeded all my expectations of him.

thanks

I'd omit "of him". There's no one else you could mean, so you're just repeating what you've already said with "he".

"all" is also suspect for the same reason. "always" takes care of that idea pretty well already.
