Examination Answer

Hi. I got this question in an examination. All the answers are supposedly correct but I am unsure about answer D.

1. Which of the following should be done upon completing software installation? (tick all that may apply)

A. Reboot the system to check

B. Complete registration documents

C. Complete the installation report

D. Escalate any problems encountered

I am sure that nobody should ever do answer D, but maybe I am not understanding the grammar.

Please clarify this for me.

Thankyou,

Winthorp

D sounds awful to me, unless it is IT jargon.

WinthorpD. Escalate any problems encountered
In the IT world "escalate" means to refer a problem one cannot solve to a more experienced/knowledgeable technician.

Nevertheless, the phrasing does leave a lot to be desired.
