Exactly enough

Hi

I was wondering whether the following is OK:

There is exactly enough pasta left only for two people.

Can 'exactly' be used like that?

Thanks!

No. There are too many variables to say 'exactly'.

How hungry are they? When did they last eat? Do they have big or small appetites? Is one a frail 90-year-old grandma and the other an 18 stone rugby player or a 5-year-old child?

It looks like there will be just enough pasta left for two people. [ This sounds natural to me. ]

I'd agree with you if you left out 'exactly', for the reasons I stated.
