I think it is not correctly expressed in the correction, as it mixes both. Could you please propose another sentence (-s) that would show it clearly?
At the letter I wrote: My research work has been financially supported by various research fellowships and five times awarded.
At the correction it was written: Various research fellowships have financially supported my work five times.
