Exact distance

1a. How far is your school from your house? Can you count the exact distance?

1b. How far is your school from your home? Could you calculate the exact distance?

Are these sentences grammatical and ok to say?

Hi, Don't say 'count'. ' Calculate' - do arithmetic. 'Measure' - check the distance physically, eg with a measuring tape.
