would just like to ask, which is the correct term: ex-in-law or ex in-law?

Hi, It's just a slang type of thing to say. There's really no formal expression of this type. Why not just say Tom is one of my former in-laws ?

It's just a slang type of thing to say. There's really no formal expression of this type. Why not just say Tom is one of my former in-laws ?

I have been known to call mine my "mother-in-ex" Emotion: smile Obviously not a standard expression.
