EVS motivation letter

I'm thinking to participate EVS program and I wrote a motivation letter. I'm very thankful if anyone check it, pleaseee! :-)

My name is ***, a 23 year old Turkish living in Ankara. I would like to apply for participation as a volunteer in ***. I’m searching for a volunteer program and found your organization. I love the opportunity to volunteer for an EVS project at first sight. I immediately knew I wanted to be part of it. I believe that participating in social project like this program is the best way to do a good thing that appeals to me very much. I feel the need to broaden my horizons, enriching my culture, language and meet as well as setting bonds with people that are working. Moreover, the opportunity of an EVS project in Spain will offer me with a huge chance of having international exposure and multicultural perspective.
I graduated from *** with honor degree. My department is psychology. During my education, I have had interest on many diverse subjects in addition to psychology, such as sociology, archeology and Spanish as well as art and culture. All these contribute my view to understanding relationship among human beings since it gains me a deep understanding and respect to people.
During my time as a student, I had a chance to work with many people. I have been a waitress and a balloon seller. I’m really enjoy working with people and know how to overcome conflicts. I’m very glad to work with a group and I love to communicate people as well as children. As following up, I’m very creative, initiative and the responsible to achieve task on my own. I’m quick to adjust to new situations and have fun of overcoming obstacles in my work.
I have a high interest on volunteer projects especially helping children to enrich their personality as well as expanding their personal view. One of a project that I participated was “Small Steps, Happy Tomorrow”. It was an AB funded project. During the project, children have had a great fun by participating many activates such as theatre, origami workshop, bowling as well as cinema. Hence children whose families could meet only their basic needs, had a chance to experience novel activates. All of them had a great fun. Finally, I like participating these programs very much.
I also have a high interest on sport. I have done many sports such as taekwondo, aikido, tennis, roller skate and badminton. Moreover, my favorite sport is aikido. I met aikido at university and it becomes a part of my life. I love its philosophy which is based on tolerance, confidence and respect to alive. It means more than a defense sport to me.
I’m willing to have new experience and find ways to improve myself. I’m ready to learn and I would be very appreciative if you give me a chance to contribute to this project.
