Everything/anything

There is a lot to do. We have to clean the offices, bring in new furniture, and install computers and telephones.

1) -I can do anything,

2) -I can do everything.

Do '1' and '2' mean the same in this context?

I think that '1' means I can do anything you want me to do; but '2' means that I can do all of those things (which in this context would be somewhat absurd).

Gratefully,

Navi
