Everything right

Hi,

"He did everything right."

Which can be the correct way to understand this sentence:
1) He did everything that is right.

2) He did everything in the right way.

I've thought it implies that "everything he did was right," but when analyzing the sentence structure, I got confused. I'd like to know the correct meaning.
