2) This is really a poetic exaggeration of the importance of this person in her life. She's saying that she owes all her charactericts, literally everything she is...to the love of this one person.

3) Not really. To get into trouble implies being in conflict with authority. Having trouble means experiencing difficulty.

for example : I would have trouble learning Chinese. (Because of the vast differences between Chinese and English) However, I would get into trouble with the police for bank robbery. Since robbery is obviously against the law.

4 The 'to' is a must here. To give in to somone is to surrender to his or her will. To do things their way.

5 This is how I would write the sentence : I think you know deep down inside how much she can be trusted. or better yet

I think you know deep down inside whether she can be trusted. Either way, the second 'you' of the sentence is not needed.
