Everyone had their pens?

Hi. Is it correct to say "their pens" instead of "their pen" with the pronoun "everyone" in the following made-up scenario where everyone supposely had one pen ready for the test? I hope my question is clear. Thank you in advance for your help.

Everyone had their pens ready for the test.
