Every of us / everyone of us

Hello! Could you help me? What variant is correct: every of us does something or everyone of us does something? Thank you very much!!

Everyone of us..but I would probably prefer "All of us are doing" or "We are all doing" using the progressive form since you are referring to an ongoing action.

Welcome to EF! Every one of us does is correct. If of follows, everyone must be two words.

Why? There is no context. Every one of us does that occasionally is perfectly good English.

The context is I got the impression from the OP that the sentence had the meaning "every one of us are doing something now", meaning an ongoing action, and in these cases I find it stylistically most satisfying to use the "proper" grammatical form, the progressive verb phrase. Not because it is "proper" as in tradition, but because it is customized to that very situation and is the litterary tool

Not necessarily. After you get more experience on our forum, you'll see that there are many more contexts in which isolated sentences might be used than might easily come to mind on a quick assessment, and with experience you get more and more clever at seeing the possibilities.

You are absolutely correct. I did feel I had context but I see that there are many other contexts to consider. So, I stand a wiser man, and I have imparted some relevant knowledge to the OP that he might like to know. We are all winners! yay!
