Every day I'm shuffling

Can we even use present continuous in such a way? This is from a popular song:

Every day I'm shuffling

Grammatically shouldn't it be:

Every day I shuffle

Thanks.

Could you kindly elaborate? All I see is the usage of present continuous for a daily repetititve action. Thanks.

I will elaborate if you will present complete sentences providing some context. As the statements stand, they are inscrutable.

Shuffling is a type of dance. Thus the meaning of the example is 'every day I am dancing'. Does this sound okay to you? I would edit it to 'every day I dance'.

Well, I agree that continuous is not called for in that minimal sentence. Actually, the sentence sounds a little odd anyway. I would say something like 'I take shuffle classes/ I practice shuffling / I go shuffling every day.'

Present continous is used for emphasis or with further contexts or other actions, like this: 'I'm shuffling every day, so I'm too busy to join your cook

Mister MicawberPresent continous is used for emphasis or with further contexts or other actions, like this: 'I'm shuffling every day, so I'm too busy to join your cooking club.' .
So it's alright to use present continuous for habitual actions in such cases?

When they had chain gangs in the south; they used to make them work on road crews and in fields from sunrise to sunset. To make it more difficult for prisoners to escape; they would shorten their leg chains to the point that they couldn't really walk or run; only shuffle.
