Ever since/tenses

Are these sentences correct:

1-Ever since I met him I know that he can't be trusted.
2-After I met him I know that he can't be trusted.

3-Ever since I met him I feel that he can't be trusted.
4-After I met him I feel that he can't be trusted.

I won't say they're incorrect, but the present perfect tense, "have known," and "have felt" would be idiomatic. "To know," and to a lesser degree "to feel," are a little special semantically. Once you know something, it's automatically continuous. Feeling something is similar, but you can turn it off.
