Can you help me rephrase the pink phrase because I have a feeling that something is very wrong with it.
If we functioned as an experienced team on the boat, the same can certainly be said for all those people who ensured such a high-level event.

Tonija ;-) I think 'to make possible' is the expression that applies best here. Therefore let me give you my 2 cents proposal : "... said about all the people ashore who made this world-class event possible " Still I find the whole sentence a bit shaky.
