"even when" ◄═► "even if"

Hi,

Would you please check these?

I noticed that whenever I wanted to use "even when", I can replace it with "even if".

Despite the fact that "even if" recalls an imaginary situation and "even when" refers to a surprising event or a timeline of happening something, I still see no problem with replacing "even when" with "even if" in situations that we are judging or saying a conclusion. Though when we are saying a story it is not possible.

eg
She checks her messages, even when she is driving.
She checks her messages, even when she is driving.

Even when you do everything his way, he is still dissatisfied.
Even if you do everything his way, he is still dissatisfied.

Telling a story:

Even when Bob studied very hard, he still failed his French tests. Correct
Even if Bob studied very hard, he still failed his French tests. Incorrect

She's a lovely woman, even if she can be a bit tiring at times. Correct
She's a lovely woman, even when she can be a bit tiring at times. Incorrect

Thanks

She checks her messages, even when she is driving. I think you meant to use 'if' in the second sentence here, and that would be correct. The rest of your analyses are correct.
