Grammar

even though + when

Ex. Even though, when people watch too much violence on TV, it can influence them negatively, TV would be too dull without violence.

Q1. Can you have a full "when" clause in an even though sentence?

Q2. Is the above academically acceptable in terms of grammar? (the content does not matter).

Thanks!

It's possible, but here you have "too much sentence". The last phrase doesn't really fit the first, the way you have it. [ TV can have a positive influence on people.

I see your point and that's how I would have it. I would avoid having such a long sentence (my example) in the first place. I just wanted to check the grammatical possibility. I just built the sentence quickly just to make one. As I mentioned, the content of the sentence does not matter. Thanks.
