It's hard to "say" sentences with strokes/slashes in them. The second sentence is clumsy and difficult to read in any case.

- I use slashes in these sentences to mean that "evade" and "dodge" have the same meaning and so are "contribute capital" and "pool capital". So my sentences would be much more natural like these, right?
