Evade vs Dodge

1a. What's the penalty for companies which evade taxes/dodge taxes and do business illegally?

1b. Does she pool her capital/contribute her capital with anyone to start a business?

Are these sentences grammatical and ok to say?

Thank you very much, Teachers

It's hard to "say" sentences with strokes/slashes in them. The second sentence is clumsy and difficult to read in any case. 1a) What's the penalty for companies which evade or dodge taxes and do business illegally?

Dear other Teachers and Sambda,

- I use slashes in these sentences to mean that "evade" and "dodge" have the same meaning and so are "contribute capital" and "pool capital". So my sentences would be much more natural like these, right?

Hi,

2a. Has she contributed her capital with anyone to start a business?

You 'contribute something to someone'. It sounds odd here, because it is like 'giving', ie it sounds like she has relinquished ownership of her capital.

2b. Has she pooled her capital with someone to start a company?
