Etymology and English history noob

Hey, I just started my sandwich year from my English Lang bachelors at Aston uni and had to write a blog post for a language company as part of my year-off-but-I'm-still-doing-something criteria. Thing is though I got a bit rusty over summer on my Anglo-Saxon jazz (done that module in first year) so I'd like some opinions and corrections from you guys on it please?
