Hi,

My first reaction is to wonder if you should be putting 'etc.' in your sentence at all.

Are you trying to write the best English you can?

Who will be reading this? eg is it part of a cover letter for a job application?

Oh, the questioner hasn't answered it, Clive^^/

I'm curious about when we use 'etc.' I suppose it's used in informal writing, is it?

What are similar words for etc in each writing case?

'and so on'?

'and so forth'?

'..............' what else?
