'etc' after 'eg' in a sentence

Is it correct to use 'etc' after 'eg' in a sentence? If not, why? Is the sentence below grammatically correct?


Make sure to have him sign the important forms (eg the trespass form, the confidentiality statement, the general release form, etc).
