Estimate, installment

Hi,

1) Can you 'do/carry out an official estimate of the electricity consumption'? (We do that in my accounting class.)

2) "I paid my first instalment for my car lease."

I know that I can say 'make my first payment on', but I want to specify that the car lease will be paid for in instalments.

Thank you.
