Topic: In many countries, children are becoming overweight and unhealthy. Some people think that the government should have the responsibility. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

People have different views about whether the government should be responsible to come up with a new solution to reduce high-risk health problem on children or not. While some people think that the response from the government would be the most effective method to help a child to reduce the childhood obesity and health problems, I personally believe that proper health education would be a better measure.

On the other hand, children’s health has been greatly enhanced thanks to participation from the government. It is undeniable that it is important for the authority to spend their government money to establish more parks and sports facilities for children. Therefore, an increasing popularity sports clubs or parks to give more chances for children to improve their health. For example, after a hard-working work, children in near my home tend to attend evening football classes in order to keep fit and stay healthy.

On the other hand, I would argue that the increasing provision from the government should have little impact on children’s health. This can be explained by the fact that a child paid an annual football course are failed to go entirely after just one month because they are likely to be lazy. Therefore, I think that it is more indispensable to educate them about basic knowledge awareness. A child can easily avoid some health problems if he equipped with sufficient basic knowledge about medicine and healthcare. For example, a child knows more the adverse impact on smoking, which is the most health problems, he might be less likely to take up this bad habit in his future.

In conclusion, although the government could play a vital role in reducing high-risk rates of obesity and health problems, I personally believe that raising children’s awareness would be the most method to enhance children’s health.
