Task: As most people spend a major part of their adult life at work, job satisfaction is an important element of individual well being. What factors contribute to job satisfaction? How realistic is the expectation of job satisfaction for all workers?

This is my essay:

Work is a part and parcel of humans' lives since the very beginning of modern times as it affords human a sense of satisfaction and feeling wanted. With the passage of time, we are no longer oblivious to what a dream career is; however, we are in an unrelenting pursuit of a enviable occupation. The heterogenous facets collectively constituting job satisfaction have sparked interest between the initiated. Personally, I reckon that there underlies three factors that underpin job satisfaction.

To embark with, passion is pivotal in job satisfaction. It is infallible that only when people possess round- the- clock immersions in their ardor and major in their work life can they countenance to their tasks every day. Research has manifested that the sheer predilection for the job stifles the contigency of disillusionment setting in.

Secondly. respect and reverence also underlies job liking. In the work place, being respected or revered by colleagues and employers acts as an inducement to secure the enthusiasm and suppress the state of being lackadaisical. In particular, no longer mansplained or disdained at office, women feel much more happy and satisfied about their work

Last but not least, salary and wage also comprise job satisfaction. The emolument generated from jobs is preponderantly synonymous with living quality. Should their monthly salary be bellow average, employees may jettison the firm belief in the feasibility of their occupations

Job satisfaction can hardly be totally realistic. The first reason is that company's employee treatment is patchy and mediocre in many places. The second one is that racial discrimination is still enacted, rendering it a great humiliation for foreigners to work in multinational franchises

To encapsulate, passion, respect and salary constitute job satisfaction in every workplace. Having said that, it can never be completely feasible principally in the face of company treatment and racism. I postulate that company should contemplate meticulously the doable policies to elevate quality of work environment.
