Answer:
It is true that some individuals have a propensity for keeping one job during their lifetime instead of altering it continuously whiles others show their preference for changes. In my opinion, I agree with the latter due to some reasons.
On the one hand, it is understandable why some people avoid challenging themselves in novel fields. One explanation for this relates to wasting of time. Obviously, changing job means that people have to spend a large amount of time on seeking a new one and adaptation to a completely new working environment such as building relationships with co-workers and bosses from scratch. Besides that, this is particularly true for men who are traditionally considered to be breadwinners in a family due to lack of stable income for raising family during the gap between the old and the new job. In another words, financial resource to pay basic needs like running water, electricity, food, education can be interrupted , therefore, they can cope with various risks for this transformation.
On the other hand, some people argue that working in variety of fields allow them to broaden their horizons. It is undisputable that to accomplish tasks of a new job which is different from the previous one, employees would need more expertise, training and equivalent skills about it. For example, if you would like to be a worker in real-estate business, you have to study about the status-quo of this market or the customers’ preferences in order to succeed, creating an opportunity to enrich your knowledge. Additionally, an transformation also provide individuals a great way to discover their full potential and find a better prospect in career path. Only can hands-on experiences in diverse positions help each people determine their real strength and compare the working conditions like salary, boss’s treatment, collogues amongst companies to consider the best one for them.
In conclusion, although some people are against changes, I am still convinced that this is essential for a better life.
