It is true that online courses are becoming a common feature of modern life. And although there is some drawback of internet-based learning, I would agree both online courses and learning direction brings some advantages to everyone.
Admittedly, online courses have several benefits. Firstly, students could be learned in a flexible way. Meaning that they can work whenever and wherever regardless of the situation. For example, they might do housework or travel and totally cover the material at their own pace. Secondly, the cost of university education is significantly reduced. Instead of living at the accommodation in the expensive city, students could learn in their home and save money for their parents. This encourages people to focus on learning because they cannot worry about saving money. Finally, by spending money to invest in education, universities could also save much of expense. Actually, some universities spend much of time and cost of hiring staff and constructing infrastructures. If learning via the Internet becomes a trend, this allows university increase significant revenue.
Despite the positive impact mentioned above, I believe that they are outweighed potential problems. Firstly, the face-to-face interaction has an important role to play in education. Students may have engaged face-to-face with their teacher. This could have positive about expression ideal and discussion with their teacher. Secondly, learning direction could help students improve communication skill and presentation skill. For example, whereas students on traditional courses could join seminars or events to expand networking, an online learner could only talk in the website forums areas.
In conclusion, the education system should balance both the learning method to achieve better effective for students.
