Love is the four letter words that all of us have experienced before we could walk and throughout our life. Our love towards other can be express by our actions or by tell them that you love them. Love can increase one’s person strength.
There are at least six types of love. The first type of love is friendship love. Friendship love is the love toward your friends. This love can be express by caring, trusting, sharing, and supporting. When we were young we express this love to everyone in either our pre kindergarten class or to who ever we hang out with because we did not know how to choose friend yet. We look at everybody that is same age with us as friend. But as we get older thing change because we now know how to choose friends. Have you ever ask yourself, who should I hang out? Who should be my best friends? We only express this love to our best friends. Everyone has experienced this type of love sometime in our life. Sometime this love fades away from your old friend. But after you make a new friend you will develop this love again. Friendship love is about being there for each other. For example, when you are in a difficult situation, you can not tell your parents, siblings, and others adult. Who do you turn to? Of course your friends because you trust your friends and you know your friend will support you by giving you advices. Your friends are the one who understand you. I remember when I am in a friendship love. I always like to hang out with my friends and being around them. I even talk to them on the phone for hours without getting bored. Sometime we just sit around and crack jokes on each other and there still joy between us. Being loyalty to each other is the key to friendship love. For instance, when people make up rumors about your friends, you need to defend your friends by tell them to stop the rumor.
Most people develop Romantic love when they are with the person they want to spend the rest of their life with. This type of love is between husband and wife, or boyfriend and girlfriend. Romantic love can be express by walking on the beach or having a candle dinner at small, elegant restaurant. Others express romantic love by exchange gifts or cuddle adjacent to the fireplace in the winter. When you are in Romantic love, you will think about that person constantly and day dreaming of that special one. I find when a guy are in romantic love they tend to ask the question. Will You Marry Me? to the girl. Most of the time the girl will say yes but some of the time the girl will say no because they are not ready for marriage.
Most of teenagers today have this type of love. It is called sexual love. They love a person not by their personality but by their physical attraction. This type of love does not last long. For instance, when a group of guys hang around the corner of the street and they see a beautiful girl walk by. They will instantly develop sexual love toward that girl because of her physical attraction. Most adult also have this type of love but they expressed it by having an sexual intercourse with the person they feel attracted .Some people find sexual love acceptable because they think sexual excitements in part their life. I find sexual love to be disgusting and immoral because some people look at girl or guy as sex object instead of a human being. This type of love can only be share between the husband and the wife like God wanted us too. Some of the people failed to do that because they have sexual intercourse before marriage.
Most couples have this type of love. It’s called committed love. This type of love is powerful between a husband and a wife. This type of love can last long if there is no broken commitment between the two persons. This type of love develop when the person are getting marry because that person committed themselves to their husband or wife. It can be a commitment between you and someone else. When we are in committed love, we will always be there for that person. I find this love to be dangerous because we can hurt other if we do not keep our commitment or promise. For example, when a man broke his commitment between his wife and him, this can result in an ugly divorce.
One of the most important loves of all is Family love. Family love stays with you until the day you die. Its will never fade away. Family love is love between you and your parents and siblings and then sibling children and then later your children. All of us have experienced this type of love after we were born. But some of the people are unfortunate that they do not have real parents because their real parents abandoned them. They still have family love towards the person that raise them, foster family, and the person they grow up with. I find this love to be powerful because our family is the foundation of who we are. They always love us no matter what we do them wrong. They might be mad for a while but then will forgive us.
Love is powerful. Love can have an affect on the person. It can make you feel great and happy. Love can be say or it can be carry out by our action. Without love a person would be lonely and inanimate about life.
