Hi
Could you please check this paragraph on Google and guide me about the weaknesses in my writing? Any suggestion is welcome.
Google
If a competition is held among the most knowledgeable Search Engines, there is no doubt Google will win it. Although very young, this engine has acquired immense popularity and won considerable amount of respect and credibility among people of all ages. Google runs the fastest with the most number of hits in a single click.
Today, Google is considered/regarded a piece de rigueur for any educational institute – without it, students and teachers would be at their wit’s end, researchers baffled, offices would slow down miserably, in short there would be total confusion.

It's an interesting essay, and I'm curious. Since Google is very young, and educational institutes have been been around for hundreds of years, how did they manage to succeed before Google? If Google has so much knowledge, does it only return only verified and correct information?
