Essay on development of relationship with spouse

I have written an essay explaining about the development of relationship with my spouse.
I'l be thankful if someone can check this and correct the mistakes.

We started communicating with each other on August 28, 2011**(e-mails)**. For the first couple of days we sent e-mails on the behalf of our parents to ask each other
about family background. Then Ken's dad called my mother in the first week of September 2011. For the first few days our conversations were very short but with the
passage of time our feelings for each other continued to grow. We started spending more time talking to each other over phone and facebook. We used to exchange
photographs everyday *over whatapp*.**My sister also used to talk to him.** My parents and relatives enquired about him and his family. My mom and his parents
decided to meet each other.On October 2, 2011, I met Ken's parents, sister, brother and nephew. Then Ken decided to visit India to meet me.
On October 29,2011, We met each other in XYZCity for the first time and our wedding was finalised.**(photo)**
On Novemeber 10,2011 Ken came to XYZCity. We had lunch and coffee together at Garden Resort. Ken proposed me for marriage and we exchanged promise rings. I gave him
gifts and greeting cards. We spent 5 hours together and we loved each other's company.
On Novemember 14,2011, Ken had to leave for Canada. So my mother, brother and I went to see him off at restaurant Haveli, Rajpura,Punjab. We had lunch there and spent
an hour together talking to each other. We were so much a part of each other's lives at this point that we could not go a single day without talking to each other.
Our parents and we finalised our wedding date i.e March 11,2012. The engagement date was not finalised because it was not sure when my dad will come to India. We
started planning for the wedding. Everytime I used to go to shop, I used to send him the photos of the stuff I bought.
Ken sent me surprise gift on my birthday. The gifts were chocolates and flowers.
On February 3,2012, Ken came to India along with his cousins. We met each other On Valentine's Day. My sister Navpreet and his cousins were also along with us. We went for wedding shopping together. We selected our engagement rings and wedding bands. Ken and his cousins stayed
overnight at my house. Next day we went to Chd and spent the day together shopping for the wedding. After that they dropped me at home.
After some days my dad came to India. On February 26,2012, he met Ken and his parents and finalised the engagment date i.e.March 1,2012 and venue. Both of us were
excited about the wedding as it was much awaited and was like a dream come true. We got engaged and after couple of days we got married in a temple.
