Over the course of history we have seen many cultural heritages being destroyed. This has proven itself to be a danger to national identity. Artifacts from the past provide us the knowledge of our ancestral background and with potential answers to today´s problems. The further the time advances the more pressure is being put on government´s official to preserve the relics of the past. But how should they address this issue ?

Intuitively, one of the first things they might consider is raising the budget of museums. Museums function for a long time as the vaults for art in most of its forms. Many of them are allowed to be seen by public, widening their awareness about the need to preserve culture in all of its forms. For this reason museums, being a vital solution to this problem, should they be given enough finances to operate at their maximum efficiency.

Despite the strong advantages of supporting the museums, renewing the historical buildings should be seen as an upstanding opportunity to save the art of architecture for the next generations. Due to increasing vandalism we are obliged to increase the financing of the reconstructions each year by a substantial amount. Were we to ignore this fact the quality of life near these buildings would have lowered because of the damage that would see on most of them. What is worth considering is that even with budget increasing each year, we are still not able to keep in shape even the fraction of our historical buildings.

To conclude supporting renovation of historical building could improve the quality of living near them. Nevertheless I my opinion financing the museums would be of a most help to preserve the local culture.
