ESSAY HElP! First Paragraph is giving me trouble

Hi, I'm applying to the Fashion Institute of Technology and have to write an essay on how my personal experiences have led me to commit to my chosen major. Heres my 1st para. Thanks!

I have always had a clear image of what I’ve wanted to do with my life. I knew early on that I was meant to work in a creative environment. I am fully prepared to commit myself to the Fashion Merchandising Management program at F.I.T. My accomplishments thus far have been obtained through hard work and determination, which has stemmed from a true love of the fashion industry.
