It is no hidden secret that from contraception the mother and baby have a connection. Over these nine very long months a mother and her baby get to bond like no other, a bond that is difficult to replicate between the father and baby. Many studies have shown that the unborn child can respond in a variety of ways with the mother. Dreams can be shared; thoughts, emotions and voice can also influence both the child and the mother. Although the father can replicate some of these they will never be as strong as with the mother. There is a belief that there is a certain level of communication between the unborn child and the mother, which can influence how dreams are perceived. Thoughts and emotions are also subconsciously shared due to neurohormones being transferred. In “Magical Beginnings” Dr. Deepak Chopra clarifies what certain research is showing us about pregnancy, “When a pregnant mother is anxious, stressed, or in a fearful state, the stress hormones released into her bloodstream cross through the placenta to the baby. Hundreds of studies have confirmed that chemicals released by the pregnant mother’s body are transported into the womb and affect the unborn baby.” Voice is the only way a father can replicate the mothers bond with the unborn child, by continuously talking to the baby the voice will become recognizable, and upon birth the newborn will be able to connect the warming, familiar voice with the face.
