Essay Editing Advice

Advice please!

I got some marketing assignment and I want to professional edit before giving it. My English is not good. I'm from Turkey.

I think I have to use professional editing for my work. I was wonder, has anybody used to a professional editing firm? What was your experience? How to know they're doing it right? Can someone else give me any tips about this?
