What a wonderful year we have, full of beautiful landscapes, astonishing plants, and amazing animals. But winter is the best. Winter starts in December and ends in February, so it’s both the end and the start of the year, and that makes it special. Everything is white, the trees have no leaves, and animals are hidden away. You can sit cozily inside near a fire, drinking hot chocolate while outside snowflakes fall like rose petals. Christmas takes place during winter, making it even better. Hearing that Jesus was born when I go to church makes me beam with joy, and the gifts and Santa Claus coming to town are also very special. Everything is joyful, full of hugs, kisses, and love during Christmas. The New Year occurs a week later, and watching the Times Square ball fall at midnight is amusing. Winter seems to end too soon, but I adore how every next day’s weather is unpredictable. I also love the gifts, having time to relax and to play video games, and celebrating Christmas. I love winter!
