Essay about Hiroshima. Help me to improve my narration thanks in advance :)

WHAT IF... HIROSHIMA HAD NEVER HAPPENED?

It's a hot August evening in Hiroshima, in the summer of 1945 when a U.S. Fighter-Bomber dropped the first atomic bomb in History. It had orders to blow up the bomb at 680 meters above ground, to cause maximum destruction possible. Three days later, when fires still were extinguisin, another B-29 flew over Kokura to throw a second bomb. Bad weather caused the pilot chose the secondary target, Nagazaki, It will be razed.

Between explosions and remote effects of radioactivity, around 3000 lives of defensless civilians were sacrficed in a huge sacrifice for technological power.

Twenty years later, General Carl Spatz, who leaded the operation, appealed and argued that he had mererely to follow orders.

Hiroshima was more than the end of the Second World War, It was the first act of the cold war.

Would Japan have been a bigger empire than now if Hiroshima had never happened? The answer, probably, is that the world could have more asiatic influence and could be very different as far I'm concerned.
