The pie charts compare the most popular benefits and drawbacks when visitors come to Bowen Island.

Overall, most of the tourists enjoy visiting Bowen Island because of the friendliness and hospitality of the locals, and the picturesque scenery. Nevertheless, the Island is impossible to become a prefect destination due to the high cost of living and the lack of entertainment.

In terms of the advantages, the proportion of visitors who are interested in the positive altitudes of the residents is the highest, accounting for 42% while 35% of them find the landscape breathtaking. The percentage of tourists who are fascinated by the characteristics of culture is slightly higher than the figure for the high standard of accommodation, with 12% and 11% respectively.

However, when it comes to the negative aspects of the Island, the high cost of living makes up 50% and 25% of the visitors dislike the lack of entertainment. Besides, while 10% of the people complain about the poor food quality, the condition of weather occupies 15% of the total disadvantages.
