Topic: Living in a country where you have to speak a foreign language can cause serious social problems, as well as pratical problems. To what extent do you argee or disargee with this statement?
A majority of people claim that having to speak a second language in another country where we are living can rusult in tremedous issues in society. However, i disagree this opponion as this statement can benefit us in several progressive aspects.
Speaking in non-native language is for sure causing social detriments. First, language barriers is the foremost factor strongly afftected to those who are sheltering abroad. For example, you could find diffucult to communicate among native speakers then stumble in misunderstanding and lead to be detered which is the very main cause of homesickness. Second, insufficient knowledge about language of your host country is considered to be a big drawback for educational targets. If a student studies overseas without language perception, he will be fallen be hind after just a few lectures. For those reasons, we could say there are some disadvantages of speaking a foreign language while living abroad.
From another positive angle, communicating in non-mother language equally brings beneficial purposes. Viet Nam for instant, almost students have been taught English in theoretical methods even though there is no practice. So getting included in a foreign environment to speak is conderably greater opportunities to develop and improve student’s abilities, particularly speaking. Not even that, having to speak another language could tremedously boost ur confidence. As internaltional traveling to your host country, striking up a conversation with strange foreigners is not event a thorny problem to yourself. In my personal consideration, living abroad with communication in their language benefits us humanitarian, cultural and traditional values leading to outweigh serious social statements.
In conclusion, in spite of several acute detriments, positive outcomes should be highlighted by its merits.
