Looking at the line graph it is immediately obvious that the people aged 65 in three countries experienced an upward trend and Japan registered the highest increase
the people aged 65 or over in USA stood at approximately 9% in 1940, while Japan and Sweden were lower, at about 5% and 7$ respectively. In 1960, this figures fell to approximately 3% in Japan. By contrast, the percentage of the population aged 65 rose by around 1% in both of USA and Sweden.
By 2040, the proportion of Japan is expected to have a sharply increase. This figures will increase to around 27%.a similar trend was witnessed in both of USA and Sweden, which will rise to approximately 23% of USA people and 25% of Sweden people in the future
