Nowadays development in the world is going at a great speed thus; the world of today is not the world that existed a year ago. So to catch up with this pace one needs to concentrate all his efforts to solve the actual problems that he is facing in the contemporary world. And of these problems is whether to forbid young children to own smartphones or cell phones with internet access or not. I strongly believe that it is better and even beneficial to forbid young children to use such gadgets as in any time they will immediately find any information and also by the help of cell phones parents will always be in touch with their children.
The most significant reason which makes me think so is that nowadays each person tends to manage his time and also tries to do everything in order to not waste the time. For example, our grandparents and our parents looked through the several books in order to find some information however; my generation never wastes its time as by just two simple clicks we can find any information. Furthermore, nowadays several online books are available thus, children don’t have to carry a great number of books with them; instead they could take just one tablet which has all the information.
Another not less essential point to confirm my viewpoint is that in order to be in touch with a child as much as it is possible, child should be allowed to have a cell phone. For instance, if a young child gets lost he could obviously call his parents and they will come for him. Just imagine how terrible it is when someone gets lost and has not got cellphone. Moreover, each parent could be informed of his or her child by just simply allowing the child to have cellphone.
However, every coin has its two sides. The same story is about forbidding young children to possess smartphones. That could be harmful for children. Eye problems may occur and besides children could exploit the utilization of cell phones by wasting their time on playing games, watching several things and so on.
Contemporary wisdom says, in order to be in touch with a child each parent should forbid young children to have cell phones and also in order to be informed and in order to not waste the time cell phones are needed.
