Especially: use with nouns

Hello!

My question today is related to the use of the word "especially". I've got this sentence:

Blogs and vlogs are especially publications for journalists, as they open up world of journalism to anyone and everyone.

First of all, it looks like there should be an article before the word "world". I'm not sure, though. I guess that was just a mistake. Just confirm if it's true please. Thanks! But that's not my main question.

My question is: does "especially" make sense there? Right after a verb and before a noun? It doesn't sound good to me... Wouldn't it be better something like "Blogs and vlogs are publications especially for journalists" (after the noun) or, better yet, "Blogs and vlogs are publications especially made for journalists" (followed by a verb in the past participle)? Does the way the sentence is now make any sense?

If you think it doesn't, just one more question: would any other word derived from the word "especial" make any sense there? If, in order to make the sentence  sound better, you could replace the word "especially" in that sentence for another one that would be formed from the word "especial" (but not "especial" itself—sadly, because "especial" itself would seem pretty good there, at least to me), which one would you choose? I can't find anything that fits! Not even the proposed correction ("especially") sounds good to me!

Could you please respond to these questions? Thank you!

So I guessed. But would "especially publications for journalists" be acceptable? That's what my teacher said the correction for the exercise was.

In that exercise, I was supposed to fill in the blank space for that sentence:

I don't find that sentence natural.

Neither do I. But what do I know?

Anyways, she says she's going to bring me the text from where she got that sentence. I'll get some more help from other native speakers I know personally, meanwhile...
